Poppy Seed Cake

Ingredients

1 box Yellow Cake mix

1 pkg Instant vanilla pudding

1t Almond extract

4 Eggs

1 9 x 5 greased and floured loaf pan

1/2C Crisco

2T Poppy seeds

1C Hot water

1/4C Milk

1C Powdered sugar

Process

Mix everything but the milk and powdered sugar in a bowl

Bake in a 9 x 5 loaf pan at 350F for 45 minutes

Remove from the oven

Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes

Mix the milk and powdered sugar

Pour the milk and powdered sugar mixture over the cake

Let cool

Remove from the pan when cool and serve
