Ingredients
2oz Rye whiskey (I have been making Old Fashioneds for over 70 years with Old Overholt Rye)
1T Simple syrup
1t Water
Dash Angostura bitters
Slice Orange peel
1ea Maraschino cherry
Ice
Process
Mix the whiskey, water, simple syrup, and angostura bitters in a shaker over ice
Strain the mixture into a glass
Garnish with orange peel and cherry
