Christmas Cookies

Ingredients

1/2C                           Sugar

1/2C                           Butter

2                                  Eggs

2-1/2C                       All-purpose flour

2t                                Double acting baking powder

1t                                Vanilla

Directions

Cream sugar with butter

Beat in eggs, baking powder, flour, and vanilla

Chill the dough 3 to 4 hours

Pre heat oven to 375F

Roll out to ¼” thickness or thinner

Cut into desired shapes on cookie sheet

Scrape excess dough away

Bake for 7 to 12 minutes

These bake fast.  Watch them.

Frosting

2T       Crisco

1/2C   Confectioner’s sugar

1t        Heavy cream

Beaten all together (Really whip it)

Add coloring if needed

If consistency is wrong adjust as needed

More sugar if it is too thin

More cream if it is too thick
