
Makes 10 biscuits
Ingredients
2-1/2C Flour
1/4C Sugar
1T Baking powder
1t Kosher salt
6T Butter, cubed
1C Cheddar, shredded
1C Buttermilk
1 Egg
Process
Preheat oven to 450F
Line baking sheet with parchment paper
Whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt together
Cut in butter with pastry blender until pea sized
Add cheese
Whisk together buttermilk, and eggs
Stir in flour mixture
Portion batter onto a cookie sheet using an ice cream scooper or 1/4C measure
Bake until brown or about 15 minutes
