
Ingredients
1t Vanilla
2t Cream of tartar
1C Light brown sugar, packed
2t Baking soda
3 Eggs
1-1/3C Heath Bits o Brickle (8oz package)
1C Granulated sugar
3-1/2C AP flour
8 oz Butter softened
1/2t Salt
Process
Heat oven to 350F
Line a dark cookie sheet with parchment. Don’t use a bright cookie sheet.
Beat the butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, vanilla, and salt in a large bowl until blended
Add the eggs and beat well
Stir together the flour, baking soda, and cream of tartar in a separate bowl
Gradually add to the butter mixture, beating until blended
Stir in toffee bits
Drop by heaping teaspoons onto the prepared cookie sheet
Bake 8 – 10 minutes until lightly brown
Cool slightly and remove to a wire rack
Cool completely
Makes about 72 cookies
