
Ingredients
2ea Russet potatoes, washed, unpeeled, and sliced thinly
1ea Onion, sliced thinly
2T Butter, divided
1T Olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Process
Heat 1T butter and 1T olive oil in a pan
Layer 1/2 of the potatoes in the pan
Add layer of 1/2 of the onions
Cut remaining butter into small pieces and sprinkle over the top
Add the remaining potatoes and onions in layers
Salt and pepper
Fry over Medium High for 5 minutes
Flip and fry for another 5 minutes
Cover and reduce the heat to medium for 10 minutes
Uncover and increase the heat to Medium High
Flip and fry until done
